Pennies – Budget and Expenses App Reviews

The application looks pretty good. The design makes it intuitive to use. However, sliding between budgets and other actions feel a little bit unresponsive (like having a delay) which makes the overall feel worse.

It is seriously just what I was searching for but it would be nice if one feature was added: add up 2 or more budgets to see what is left in general.

the device is crashing as soon as i type in the Name of my budget. the app is (ironically) a waste of money!

I searched for such a good app for months and now its here! Simple and great interface, easy handling for people who dont know the app yet. Thank you!

Its quit simple and makes fun, but can you please upgrade it for iOS 8?! Enhance the new flat design for the App! Why not let the user choose the color of the interface? Also it would be awesome if the swipe gestures would be more smoothly. Please, do it. New edit: How about a new typeface? The one now isnt looking that professional

I really like the App and defined several Budgets. They are ALL effed up since the update!! random 99 cent entries, everything miscalculating etc. Pleeeeease fix ASAP!

I like the app until the last update. App crashes when I want to add a new expense. It also cuts the first number before the comma. It shows euro and the dollar sign instead of only the euro sign. In the history of old payments it only shows the numbers behind the comma. This is happening as well fur the daily and monthly budgets. So if my daily budget is 11,95 € it only Shows ,95 Please fix those bugs and I give you the 5 stars your app deserves. Btw. It would be great if I could edit the payments in the history as well if I could set the date to a payment. E.g. I usually forget to fill in my dinner and put it in in the next day, but now my daily left budget is not right anymore.

Pennies simplicity is what apps are all about. The watch version is a very handy tool. Personally Id love the possibility of using the crown to add the amount of pennies spent, maybe as an option for people like me with chubby fingers. Otherwise this is one of my daily used apps. Great work!

As if 5€ is not enough, they still try to charge you for many things inside. Nice app, but I was not expecting this.

This app doesnt hook into your account like Mint, but that is ok. Adding budgets is easy, and the app is beautiful. I would recommend it.

The beauty of this app is its simplicity, would love to have a simple representation of the totals of all my budgets, actually Im surprised its not an option already. A total budget vs. total spent would be great. ₩ would be an ideal currency right now for me as well (but its really no big deal since you can choose to have no currency symbol if the desired is not on their list).

This app is too simple for budgeting. All you get is a grand total and then you detract expenses, but you cant name expenses to keep track of what they were. Lame, and a waste of money.

Ive wanted a simple budget app like this forever. I have tried a bunch and they are too confusing, complicated and/or time consuming. This app is perfect - quick and easy so I actually STICK to my budget. I love it. I hope to eventually set my own daily budget limit and also add a note to amounts Ive spent so I know what I have spent my money on, but these really aret must-haves. I would recommend this app to anyone, worth the download and plus it looks great! :)

Finally something efficient, simple and fun to use!

This is a simple but beautiful app. Its easy to keep track of your spending without having to disclose your personal finances to a third party. I look forward to updates in the future to expand the features as well.

Please add change currency to the setting.

They have a "how are we doing" thing that pops up once in a while. If you indicate you are happy itll send you to write a review. If you indicate youre unhappy, it sends you to their website. 1 star because I dont like being the victim of voter manipulation. App is decent however.

Great app for keeping track of money, however I wish I could add notes so I can keep track of what Ive spent money on. Also if a budget goes into the negative it disappears after a short time. :(
