O App faz aquilo que se propõe a fazer de forma bem eficiente, mas faltam algumas funcionalidades, como anotar gastos fixos e múltiplas fontes de renda num budget só. A UI é excelente, o design é lindo, e tem suporte para Apple Watch

Facilita o controle de pequenos gastos. Simples e útil. Falta apresentar a quantia em reais, pesos argentinos e guarani, que são as moedas que uso, mas existe uma função extra no caso de não encontrar a moeda do seu país para "resolver" o problema.

A experiência do aplicativo em si é boa o bastante para utilizar regularmente, haja vista que o sistema "operacional" do app é baseado nas finanças gastadas diariamente e controladas a mão. Ótimo.

Makes it easy to visualize my budget, adjust my budget allowance, and can roll over or just track week to week. Great when facing financial changes and needing to more carefully track spending.

Rest of App perfekt and still use because it really is the most simple for my needs. Would like to sync across devices but for now just use on my phone because do love this app :)

Great money tool for when you are on a budget! Update: Although I do not agree with monthly or yearly subscriptions, I do appreciate the effort and the value this app offered at one point, for me. It is a great tool if you have the resources. Best

Finally a simple and clean budgeting app that I can actually use. All the other apps I tried were overwhelming and demotivating. Pennies is easy to integrate into my routine and is the first app that I’m actually keeping up to date with! Feel like I finally have control over my expenses and budget.

I’ve been a long time user of this app and absolutely love the simplicity of it. But it no longer syncs across my devices like it used to do. This has been an issue for at least a year. Even though I have iCloud syncing enabled, the app doesn’t sync. Instead the little cloud icon just freezes up and never syncs.

I’ve had this app for years (6+) and I use it in a bit of a backwards way where I assign my “budget” as what I really want my savings goal to be so I can see how much money I need to make each day doing freelance, side gigs, etc to meet that goal. This app has been fine for that until today when it took me back to the start screen so I clicked get started and nothing. Closed the app again and nothing. Went to the App Store and clicked on app support which just took me to their website talking about how great it is. My phone doesn’t show the app needing to be updated so I’m not sure what’s going on or if the app just finally died since it’s been the same for years

“Grandfathered in” apparently means something different in my dictionary.

So I’m coming from YNAB and I’m used to that level of tracking everything and budgeting. I honestly have nothing against them except the yearly fee is kind of ridiculous. That’s what attracted me to this app that has a one time fee which I think is great. I’ve tried every budgeting app out there and this might be the one. I’m actually confused by the simplicity since YNAB has me thinking I have to track everything and you can’t do that here very well. I have to make my mind up if I value the complexity of YNAB or the simplicity of Pennies.

I purchased this app with the intention of using it to track bills. What I got was a simple and clean, designed app with literally no way to use it for simple bill tracking. It allows you to create budgets, but perhaps I’m missing the trick for how to properly use it. Definitely not worth five dollars!

The app seems more straight forward than others I have tried.

Just what I needed to track all my incidental spending. I know what bills I have to pay every month but this app helps me monitor everything else. And it’s extremely easy to use.

This super helps my brain to quickly write down what has been spent. I never use cash so money tends to go quick if I’m not tracking it!

Love how I can track each of the different variable items on my budget by creating accounts in Pennies. It similar to the envelope system but digital!

I love that it tells you daily how much money you have left in your budget! For example if you have 300 dollars left in the month, then it lets you know you have 10 dollars a day to spend!

I worried that there was no trial, but I’m so glad I tried it. It’s simple, it’s beautiful, it tracks what I need it to track, and it limits extra unnecessary spending.

Why use an app that takes 5 minutes to load? I’ve given this “productivity app” that much time to load up and it is wasting more time than it is helping. I will update this review once this issue is fixed (it’s been a year since developer decided to not address this issue despite the update stating otherwise)

It’s simple, no suggestions based on spending. Only thing is I wish i could have a budget within a budget (i.e. a $800 budget broken into $350 groceries, $100 toiletries etc.) other than thats its perfect and not intrusive at all

This app is excellent for tracking expenses but it’s 2024, it needs widgets! Please add widgets to the app!

Simple and easy to use! Love it!

Been using this for years! Takes discipline to remember to use it. But it makes daily spend limits so easy. I always come back to it when I want to get serious about my financial planning!

Nicely designed, simple to use and it has an Apple Watch component as well! Can't use it though, since my wife and I share the budget and is single user only. We each have icloud accounts, and Apple makes sharing an icloud account painful and confusing.,If we could store the database as a shared icloud FILE, or dropbox, this would be a winner. Too bad.

i love the pennie’s app, it’s the best app ive ever used for money tracking. it’s minimalist, super simple to use, & a very clean interface. definitely worth the purchase!

I had this app on my phone for a few years before finally using it. I was in debt at the time and struggling. Finally, I decided to face my problem and I started using this app. I sure wish I had started it sooner! It got me on track and allowed me to see where I was spending my money and made me think before spending when I needed to save. I have now been using it faithfully for 3 years and it has truly changed my life for the better. Everyone should use this app! It takes seconds to track and you’ll happily see your bank account balances go up when you stay within your budget.

Pennies app is an excellent enhancement for my budget routine. It makes me feel in control of my variable spending, giving me an option for delayed gratification with the rolling budget. Thank you!

This is one of those apps I’ve had on my phone for a long time. I use it on and off. But always a helpful app when I need to get back on track with my excess spending. Devs… two comments. I would really like to see usage of the new widgets! And most of all, in the widget I’d like the option to see how much I’ve spent in period and for today. It just seems to work better for me than how much is left.

I have always been terrible at tracking my spending, but this app has changed that. It’s ease of use/custom budgets make it so easy to do, whether on my phone or Apple Watch. I will try out the Mac version too. I tried other budgeting apps like Mint, but felt they were too complex. This app makes budgeting very simple, and I will be using it for a long time!

I have used this app for years with no issues and loved it. 7 months ago I started crossing a time zone on a regular basis and it throws off certain budgets when I enter the new time zone. Sometimes when I return to my home time zone they will correct, sometimes they don’t. Due to this issue, I need to find a new budget app, but so far I have been unsuccessful because I just want something simple like Pennies that works on all my devices. Very disappointed that a time zone issue is causing math errors and ruining a good thing.

I just tap what I spent on my watch. So that way I am able to always get a visual cue of what I’m spending. Setting up budgets is great too. You can roll them over and set different budget terms. I recommend anyone to get it

It works great for me. Simple, easy to use and easy to change. A great little app

The app is very simplistic and user-friendly, recommend it! But recently, after I upgraded to iOS 15, it keeps frozen when I launch it. Tried to reinstall it, the same issue still happens.

Good stuff

The only job of this app is to keep track of my entries, but it will randomly forget a bunch of them or do the math badly and I have to readjust the math over and over again. Please advise because I can’t budget with an app that forgets my budget.

This is a great app; it basically automates exactly what I do on paper every month and it simplifies my life a lot not having to write down spending and calculate balances to know “where I’m at.” I don’t need anything else to manage my myriad of little “budgets” that I use to manage my savings and spendings!

If this app had widgets for tracking individual budgets with daily, weekly and total budget views; this app would meet all my needs.

This is not an app to keep track of all your finances. Rather once you’ve created your budgets set each one up in here and it’ll help keep you on track. This app is designed beautifully, both functionally & aesthetically so it’s a pleasure to use.

Would be perfect if it supported sharing with a partner.
